Scope of application

As a special rubber, CSM has been widely used in the fields of special pipe, transport belt, seal, wire and cable, waterproof coil, automobile industry, etc. . For example, the laminated pipe made with CSM as the inner layer has low permeability to fluorohydrocarbon refrigerant, so it is suitable for refrigerant delivery pipe. The mechanical properties and thermal properties of vulcanizates were improved by blending SM with fluororubber and EPDM. Blending EVA polymer with CSM and isoprene rubber can make composite materials with slip resistance, wear resistance and oil resistance. The vulcanized rubber with high oil resistance and ozone resistance can be made by mixing CSM with PVC and PU in extruder.
