CPVC

Product introduction

The chlorinated polyvinyl chloride is a product of further chlorination of the polyvinyl chloride. Its chlorine content is generally 65% ~ 72% (by volume) and it is white powder in appearance. According to the degree of polymerization, can be divided into high viscosity, medium viscosity and low viscosity. The high viscosity type has better oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and elasticity, while the low viscosity type is more soluble in vegetable oils. Polyvinyl chloride is soluble in organic solvents such as esters, ketones, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The product is non-flammable and does not deform in boiling water. In addition to many excellent properties of PVC, CPVC has higher corrosion resistance, heat resistance, solubility, flame retardancy and mechanical strength than PVC, so CPVC is a new material with excellent properties, it is widely used in the fields of architecture, chemical industry, metallurgy, shipbuilding, electric appliance, textile and so on.

Product name

Polyvinyl chloride chloride, chemical formula: [C4H5Cl3]n

Scope of application

CPVC has excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance and flame retardancy, and is relatively cheap compared with other thermoplastic engineering plastics, except for widely used in the preparation of corrosion resistant paints, adhesives and synthetic fibers, etc. , it is also widely used in building materials, such as cold and hot water pipes, industrial pipes, cable pipes, profiled doors and windows, aircraft interior decoration materials and materials for vehicles and lamps. In addition, there are some applications in the electronics industry.
